The Gupta Empire
One of the mightiest empires the world has every seen is the Gupta Empire. They had some good achievments in their time. 1 of their many achievements was their paintings, which I will talk about. The 2 of their many achievements were the sculptures, which I will be talking about too! The final achievement was the metal work, which was important in that time.
The Gupta art as influence modern day artist for there ancient paintings. During the Gupta empire there needed to be at least one painting in their house. A painting in Gupta time was painted on scrolls. Some had Ajanta cave murals. Some of the paintings were made by clay and minerals. The murals were shown in Buddha’s life. Almost all the painting was made by hand.
The Gupta’s metalwork was really important in there time. In there time kings controlled huge miners of gold, copper, and iron.
